After far too long a hiatus, I'm pleased to announce that I will be participating in the 39th annual "Made in California" group exhibition at the Brea Gallery. This show in particular, for me, has a bit of that "full cirlce" vibe - I was actually accepted into this same show several years ago, but was unable to participate due to circumstances which, in retrospect, were easily avoidable - truly a missed opportunity on my part. If you can make the opening, just know that the exhibiton runs from April 27th to June 23rd. And as far as spaces to view art go, the Brea Gallery is truly one of those locations designed to maximize the experience of the viewer - not only is it located in a much larger complex dedicated to the arts in general, the space itself has a flow and sense of movement to it that is ideal for the viewing of art. Clearly, the Brea Gallery is a space made for and by artists.
